Time out

Sometimes you see something that you absolutely must have, even though you may not have enough wallspace. The White and White Clock, is one of those things for me. Designed by Vadim Kibardin is meant to be a three-dimensional version of a traditional digital clock, but it looks more modern, cooler and dynamic.

Designed by Audun Ask Blaker, the LineƦr clock initially looks like any other clock, but upon closer inspection you find out that the time is written on a continually rotating scroll. The simplicity of the clock is key to the design’s success (in our opinion), there’s nothing that fancy about it – no lights, no noise, and no digital displays. The clock also comes with different coloured facades.

http://www.vimeo.com/32796535 I am a sucker for useless bits of new tech. It’s hard to think of a device more aptly named than BergCloud’s Little Printer. It’s little. It prints. It even smiles at you. And why wouldn’t it? It’s adorable. Equally notable is what it produces — RSS feeds printed out on grocery store-style receipts. All you have to do is hook it up to your router, configure your RSS subscriptions from your smartphone and press a button to print them out. The Little Printer connects wirelessly to a small box that’s plugged into your router. This box, in turn, interfaces with the Berg Cloud (also unveiled this week), providing constant updates and pulling down any web content you’ve selected. http://bergcloud.com/

Japanese love their toys and gimmicks. This iphone attachment was given to me last night. It’s called the ‘Moshi Moshi’ mobile phone handset. Struggling to fit it in my suit pocket. Works brilliantly.

Forgotten about how many songs are on your ipod? And can’t find the one’s you really want to play? This could be for you…Its a button badge that is a pre-recorded series of tracks, that cannot be erased. So low-fi it’s refreshing. www.playbutton.co/

Well, judging by the new posts today, you can see it’s been a busy day in the office. This is the last friday fun website to recommend for the weekend. www.damnyouautocorrect.com is a site which is not aesthetically pleasing but really has the funniest typos ever from iphone SMS messages.
